This is an exciting opportunity to join a global business supporting a major data centre contract. You’ll play a key role in keeping critical equipment running smoothly across the EMEA region, working with load banks and ancillary equipment. From inspections and servicing to installation and commissioning, your work will directly improve asset performance and maximise uptime for a leading blue-chip client.
In this varied role, you’ll:
Carry out inspections and diagnose issues on equipment returning from site.
Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and avoid unnecessary repairs.
Service and complete major repairs, ensuring equipment leaves the facility in top condition.
Safely load and unload equipment from delivery vehicles.
Operate forklifts and other handling equipment (training provided if needed).
Support and train colleagues or customers on equipment use and maintenance.
Keep safety front of mind by following all company and regulatory requirements.
Attend training and manufacturer updates to keep your skills sharp.
Contribute to depot meetings and wider team initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
At least 2 years’ experience with load banks or similar equipment.
Electrical training (apprenticeship or equivalent), ideally with an industrial background.
A minimum of 3 years’ post-apprenticeship electrical experience.
Confidence with electrical diagrams, metering equipment, and fault diagnosis.
Strong technical knowledge of branded load banks.
Experience working with high-value stock and strict control processes.
A forklift licence (or willingness to train).
High safety awareness and a structured, organised approach to work.
IT skills, comfortable using PCs, tablets, and smart devices.
Fluency in Dutch and English, plus an EU passport.
You’ll be a practical problem-solver with strong communication skills and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team. You’ll need to be flexible, adaptable, and happy to travel when required.
Work with a respected international business on high-profile projects.
Develop your skills with ongoing training and manufacturer support.
Be part of a supportive team that values safety, collaboration, and getting the job done right.
Enjoy the variety of working both on-site and in the field.
Travel across Europe (and occasionally the US) as part of your role.
Some overnight travel required.
Full EU driving licence essential.
