About the Role

This is an opportunity for a Yard Operative to join the team. In this role you will play a key part in the smooth and efficient running of the Service Centre. It will be your job to prepare equipment to ensure it is clean and ready for customers to hire.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning and preparing equipment.
• Checking and storing off-hired equipment.
• Maintaining clean and safe yard, workshop and storage areas.
• Liaising with customers on a day-to-day basis when loading and unloading.

About You

To succeed as a Yard Operative you will bring the following skill set and behaviours:

• The physical fitness required to undertake your daily tasks.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• An organised approach, able to complete job duties on time.
• Good customer service skills.
• A flexible approach and willingness to undertake relevant training and development.
• A commitment to and awareness of Health and Safety; knowledge of PPE requirements and COSHH is an advantage.
